Not directly. But you can write a little script with the command for tcl and then launch vmd with the -e flag.

Axel.

Subject: vmd-l: topotools question
Dear Axel,
Is it possible to read in the lammps data file from the vmd command line
directly while opening VMD through some command line flag?
Right now, I open VMD, go to Extensions--> TkConsole, then type
topo readlammpsdata filename
While debugging lammps data file, it sometime becomes an hassle to go
through the process 10-20 times.
Best Regards,
Vikas
