We are having difficulties running vmd after upgrading one of
our iMACs to 10.3.8 (automatic Apple update). The error message
with both 1.8.2 and 1.8.3 in the console window is:

2005-03-03 10:06:08.344 VMD[467] CFLog (0):
CFPropertyListCreateFromXMLData(): plist parse failed; the data is not proper UTF-8. The file name for this
data could be:
         Resources/Info.plist --
file://localhost/System/Library/Frameworks/Carbon.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/SpeechRecognition.framework/
The parser will retry as in 10.2, but the problem should be corrected in the plist.

data could be:
         Resources/Info.plist --

The parser will retry as in 10.2, but the problem should be corrected in the plist.

When trying to load a file vmd crashes with a bus error.

Would it be possible to recompile vmd with the new OS version?

Thanks,

Michael.
