Hi Michael,

I'm currently running 10.3.8 with VMD, and its working fine. I updated
from 10.3.7 using Apple Software Update. That makes me strongly suspect
that something went wrong during your system update.

Are you running VMD from a local disk, or from a network? If its local,
is the disk formatted with HFS+. Also, have you installed a stand-alone
verison of TCL? It shouldn't make any difference, but I'm just trying
to think what might be different.

Can you try a few things?

- Run the Apple Disk Utility and try running Repair Permissions on your
startup disk

- If that doesn't help, try downloading the standalone updater from
Apple:
<http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/macosxupdate1038combo.html>
If any particular file didn't get updated correctly, hopefully, the
Combo updater will replace it. Unfortunately, its a big download.

Let me know if that helps at all, or if you get any different errors.
If its still giving problems, I'll have to try to think of some other
problem.

Good luck,
Robert
