Hi,
I've setup machines with 5 monitors and 4 or more GPUs before, so the blanket
answer is "yes" in the general case. We have a few GeForce 980 cards driving
4K TV's (I'm using one as I type this) so I know they work fine in isolation.
Driving multiple displays with multiple GPUs should be no problem. We've
got a couple of machines that combine Quadro cards and GeForce cards driving
large 4K displays and one or more smaller displays.

The X configuration for multi-GPU hosts can get a little complex depending
on whether the 3-D mode you need is quad-buffered active stereo, as opposed
to row-interleaved or column-interleaved passive stereo.

Cheers,
  John Stone
