Hey all.
The object is to use the keyboard and/or mouse in a normal way to manipulate the view while the movie is generated. In other words, each tiny view change produced by the mouse/keyboard results in another frame captured by VMDMovie. The 'logfile' command already saves every tiny view change produced by the keyboard and mouse (not sure about a 3D mouse) as 'translate', 'rotate' or 'resize' commands. And the VMDMovie user-defined option already allows translations, rotations and resizes to be specified before each frame advancement. So combining the view-change information storage (with the logfile command, perhaps) and VMDMovie seems like a straight forward project.

Has anyone tried this?
