Nuno,
  You said you tried the Python libraries I packaged up the other week
and it didn't work, can you tell me specifically what Python-related
environment variables you had set? What error(s) did you get when you
tried to run IED? The libraries I packaged up should definitely work since
they are what VMD was compiled against ;-)
