Hi,
  On Windows, it's best to tell the driver to enable antialiasing
by default, or to create an "application profile" for VMD and enable
antialiasing for VMD in the video driver configuration panel. The reason
you can't turn it on/off within VMD itself is that antialiasing works
very differently on Windows than on X-Windows or MacOS X and we want to
continue to support old versions of Windows for a while longer yet.
