Hi,
  Your question isn't very clear to me. What aspect of rendering
the images are you having trouble with? Which renderer are you using?
You'll get warnings in the VMD text console if you attempt to render
something that isn't supported by the renderer you're using (e.g. text
labels, with external renderers). The "snapshot" renderer will take
the on-screen image exactly as you see it, so that one should always work.
