I am having issues getting vmdmovie to create an mpeg file. The script seems
to run just fine. It creates the rgb files and then converts them to ppm
without problems. However, ppmtompeg creates an mpeg file of zero size. I
saw a previous message to the list with the same problem but we are the most
recent version of Netppm and version 1.7.1 of VMD under Linux.

I changed the script to keep the rgb and ppm files. I looked at the ppm files
using GIMP and they definitely contain pictures. When I tried running
ppmtompeg from the command line using the script created by VMD I don't get an
error message. Instead, it outputs only

and again creates an empty .mpg file. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
