Hi,
  You'll need to use the Python libraries that match the version of
Python compiled into VMD. These are posted here:
  http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Research/vmd/plugins/pythonlib/

Once you grab the right one, you'll need to unpack it, and
setup your environment varibles appropriately, and then you should
be in business.
