Hi,
  This indicates you don't have a properly configured X-windows server.
If you can't run simple apps like "xterm", or "glxgears" you won't be able
to run VMD either. All of them require a running windowing system,
a valid DISPLAY environment variable, and working GPU drivers.

The information you provided in previous emails doesn't really describe
anything about where you're running the windowing system, and this may
be the cause of the entire issue that you're having.
