Tristan,
  The falcon may still be the best bang for the buck if you manage
to buy up whatever stock remains at online retailers. Beyond that,
my experience is primarily with the Sensable Phantom Omni and
Phantom Desktop. Since Sensable got bought by Geomagic, they now
sell them as "Geomagic Touch", from what I see on the web at least.
I have no idea what Geomagic's pricing is (they don't seem to list it),
but I would expect it to be $1,200 or more since that's very roughly
what it used to be.
