Dai Ling,
  What error message do you get when you attempt to run the installed
VMD? I know others have it working on AIX 5.x, but I know that they
renamed something to make it work, but since they never told me what they
changed, the code hasn't been changed to avoid whatever problem they had.
If you can email me the error message you get, that would be very helpful.
