Your previous installation is probably in the hidden mode. Quite tricky to bring back.
I myself have one of the programs I would like to upgrade, but mistakenly I hided it.
Well, Microsoft knows nothing about old good unix command "chmod".
It is even impossible to find where on the disk hidden file is without running through nightmare.
In my case even function un-hide is missing...
You need very knowledgeable Microsoft operational system technician to help (I do not have one) or iron your disk :-0.
You can GOOGLE, I did, but have find only despair of like-me's.
