Is there a way to label or name specific representations and refer to
them from a script? As far as I can tell each representation has an ID
given by the order in which it was created. This makes it awkward to
modify representations if the number of representations changes. For
example, if you have 3 representations with IDs 0, 1, 2 and you delete
the very first one, the IDs will be relabeled to 0 and 1. If you
wanted to deleted all the representations but keep the 2nd one say,
you would not be able to use the command:
mol delrep 0 top
mol delrep 2 top
Is there any advice on how to work with these changing representation
IDs? Or is there some way that static labels can be given to them?
Thanks,
Bob
