hi guys,
one of my colleagues experiences following problem. if she wants to use
labels (for example for distance measurements), these are displayed
correctly displayed, but they start to flash during rotation and are
badly visible even when rotation is stopped.
this problem occurs for 1.8 versions of vmd; 1.7.x worked fine
another question - why labels aren't rendered (tested using raster3d)?
the line connecting 2 atoms that are being measured is rendered ok, but
labels are missing...
hardware specifications:
graphics card ATI radeon 7000
lcd panel mitsubishi e85lcd
redhat 8.0 - 3.2-7
x-windows 4.2.0
vmd version - from ftp, downloaded last week; opengl version
any hints?
regards,
lubos
