Hi,
  The Windows version of VMD doesn't have a NetCDF plugin presently due to
issues with the way the Windows version of NetCDF is compiled. I hope to
address this in a subsequent build of VMD or plugin update release. In
the short term you'll either have to use one of the other platforms or
convert the NetCDF file to a format you can read natively on Windows.
