Hi all,
I want to solvate a DNA molecule, so I am trying to run the hands-on
scripts with gramicidin to rehearse a little bit. In this demo, I am
stuck at the point where I issue the 'topology' command: vmd simply
crashes away. I tried different .inp files, same result. Even
if I simply type 'topology' with no file argument at all, vmd crashes
immediatly.
Has anybody experienced this?
I have to say that I recently recompiled the libpsfgen.so library
that did not work on my platform. It loads OK at startup and when I type
'package require psfgen' the console answers 1.3.1 (psfgen version) so I
assume this is correct.
My understanding is that the 'topology' command uses libpsfgen.so, am I
right here?
Bye all
