Hello,

I have tried installing VMD on Ubuntu 8.10 Although the installation seems
to go smoothly, when I run vmd, the windows pop up quickly and disappear ...
no core is dumped to the location from where I am running VMD. What could be
the problem ? TCL and Python are installed. How can I clean older attempts
to install VMD ?
