Well, I downloaded the new version of VMD 1.8 release. My SGI is 64-bit (I
think. I typed uname -a, it returns me IRIX64). So I downloaded the
precompiled version for SGI 64-bit version. After I installed, and then try
to run it,
it pops up the vmd window and disappeared with no further complains.

What went wrong?
