Respected Sir/Madam

I want to make a pictorial representation of certain amino acids by showing
only the sidechain and the alpha carbon group of the respective residue.
I tried different option like

"resid 65 not backbone and noh"
"resid 65 and sidechain and noh"
Problem with the above two is that only the sidechain is coming without any
bond between the sidechain carbon and the alpha carbon.

I tried using the command

"name CA and resid 65" but again I got the representation in the same way as
said above

Please tell me the exact way of writing this command if possible in the
graphic window.
