Hi,
I've never encountered that kind of problem, and I frequently
use the same state files on many platforms. Does your Windows
machine have permission to access the file(s) you saved in Ubuntu?
It's quite possible this is merely a permissions problem of some sort.
Can you open the saved state file in a text editor?
