Dear list,

I'm running VMD1.8.6 both on Ubuntu Linux and WinXP and found the
following problem:

If I save molecules in Ubuntu (File/Save State with vmd extension) and
try to read them in Windows, I get an error message saying

ERROR> Could not read file XXX.vmd

Maybe this has been discussed on the list already, but I just joined the
list and could not find any post by a quick search.

Any help is appreciated,
