Yes, I tried that, but although in the shell alone history is working,
it is no longer working within VMD. Eg cursor up yields
vmd > ^[[A
instead of going back in history. Also colors and formatting of eg 'ls'
are lost ..
The TkCon script suggested by Justin works fine, though.
