If you have a GeForce2Go and the NVidia drivers) you want the Linux DRI
OpenGL version. The Mesa version uses an unaccelerated OpenGL
implementation which is much slower than a GeForce2Go chip.

I can't say why the Mesa version doesn't work, though.
