On December 7, 2006, Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Linda P.B. Katehi and Vice Provost Ruth Watkins visited the TCBG, accompanied by Beckman's Director Dr. Pierre Wiltzius and Associate Director Van Anderson. TCBG faculty members Klaus Schulten, Emad Tajkhorshid, and Alek Aksimentiev, along with postdoctoral researcher Jordi Cohen and graduate students Amy Shih and Peter Freddolino provided brief 3D lectures on the mission, research, software development, and training efforts of the TCBG, and how those efforts benefit both the UIUC and larger biomedical community. An agenda of lecture titles, and slides using during the lectures, are available below.
