Hi,
  The Windows builds of VMD don't include Python yet, so IED can't run on
that platform at this time. I plan to offer a Windows build of VMD 1.8.4
that is linked against Python if all goes well with testing. When I have
something you can try out, I'll announce it here on VMD-L.
