Hi Angelo,
  You can use the 'graphics' or 'draw' commands for this purpose.
Depending on what's easiest for you, I'd suggest taking a look at
some of the VMD script library examples that do things like this.
Here's a simple one I wrote that draws a parametric surface, which
could conceivably be used for your purpose:
  http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Research/vmd/script_library/scripts/3dparplot/

And another:
  http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Research/vmd/script_library/scripts/3dgraph/

Between those two examples, I think you'll have enough to get what you want.
