Hi,
The 'measure sasa' command is in the VMD User's Guide at
the bottom of this page:
http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Research/vmd/vmd-1.8.3/ug/node121.html
The units are surface area in the same units as the original
structure. (normally A^2)
