Dear vmd,
   I have encountered strange problems using IED into VMD 1.8.3. It
worked properly with vmd 1.8.2. I am using SuSE 9.0 and Python 2.2.3.
But this should not be the problem because somebody else reported the
same problem with Mandrake 10.1.
   Does anybody have any idea why this happens?
