Harindar,
Make sure you've got the XVR-1000 set to a stereo-capable video mode,
like one of these:
  fbconfig -dev gfb0 -res SUNW_STEREO_1280x1024x112
  fbconfig -dev gfb0 -res SUNW_STEREO_1280x1024x96
  fbconfig -dev gfb0 -res SUNW_STEREO_1024x768x96

Once you've set the video mode, you'll need to restart X by logging out
and logging back in. From there, you should be able to run VMD,
and when VMD starts you'll see the word "STEREO" in the list of OpenGL
features it found. If that works out well, then once you start VMD
you should see the emitter light come on, and you can enable stereo in
VMD by selecting Display->Stereo->CrystalEyes from the main VMD menus.
