Dear Taeho,
Have you tried turning off the Axes?
Use the Display->Axes->Off menu item to disable them. We've found
that some revs of the Apple OpenGL drivers have a performance issue
with the VMD Axes. I'm working on improving this for VMD 1.8.2 before
we release.
Thanks,
John Stone
