hi,
yes, in a TKConsole window, you can change directories using the cd command and
choose your folder.

Subject: vmd-l: how to change working directory of VMD?
I am using VMD but every time i try to open file or save file it will start from
the VMD home folder. Can i change that and chose the folder contains my files to
be the first choice to appear when i press new file. (I am working under
windows).
