Are there any particular pointers for building VMD with both Python and
CUDA support on the most recent MacBook Pros (nVidia GeForce GT 330M, 6
processors, 48 cores, CUDA 3.0), running OS X 10.6.3?
These options all (actually "both" -- the first two seem to be
equivalent) look appealing:
macosx.x86.opengl:
./configure MACOSXX86 FLTKOPENGL FLTK IMD VRPN TK TCL SILENT
LIBSBALL PTHREADS LIBTACHYON ACTC NETCDF CUDA
macosx.x86.cuda.opengl:
./configure MACOSXX86 FLTKOPENGL FLTK IMD VRPN TK TCL SILENT
LIBSBALL PTHREADS LIBTACHYON ACTC NETCDF CUDA
macosx.x86.64.opengl:
./configure MACOSXX86_64 OPENGL FLTK IMD TK TCL SILENT PTHREADS LP64
But without having to decipher the details of the Makefile, could
someone suggest how I get a 64-bit, CUDA, multi-threaded, Python
supported build of VMD?
Thanks,
Ian
