Temporarily renamed the working version 1.8.6 with a uma-type
multi-cpu dual-opteron machine, driven by debian linux amd64 lenny, I
have installed vmd1.8.7 in default locations from

vmd1.8.7.bin.LINUXAMD64.opengl.tar.gz

When launching <vmd> the error message apperas
"/usr/local/vmd/vmd_LINUX: command not found", as if I had installed a
wrong version for the above hardware/OS. If so, I would appreciate
which version should I choose.

The reason for instaling the new version is that I could not find in
my installation of 1.8.6 the .top and .par files mentioned in "VMD
provides a sample RBCG topology file, rbcg-2007.top, in the cgtools
directory in your plugin path ...............VMD provides a sample
RBCG topology file, rbcg-2007.top, in the cgtools directory in your
plugin path" at
<http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Research/vmd/plugins/cgtools/>. I could only
find the PSF Builder and CG Builder.
