Hi!

I am using VMD 1.8.7beta1 (AMD64 CUDA version) on an Ubuntu 9.04 Core
Duo Laptop.

When I quit VMD, most VMD windows close correctly, however, the OpenGL
main view does not close and the VMD process is still running.
I managed to get rid of that window only by killing the VMD process.

Using strace to see what the process is doing, I get:

> strace -p 22719
Process 22719 attached - interrupt to quit
futex(0xd6cec0, FUTEX_WAIT_PRIVATE, 2, NULL
