Hi,
You can alter the default size and position of the VMD OpenGL window
by setting the environment variables, e.g. (c-shell):
setenv VMDSCRPOS "596 190"
setenv VMDSCRSIZE "669 834"
then run vmd...
or (bourne shell):
VMDSCRPOS="596 190"
VMDSCRSIZE="669 834"
export VMDSCRPOS
export VMDSCRSIZE
then run vmd...
