A note to developers:

It is an unwanted action when the system keeps rotating after you
stopped holding the mouse button. And, yes, there is usually a delay
in response, especially if you work on remote machine or if you load a
big protein with waters, or if you have bad graphic card.
IMHO, VMD should have this feature, but not turned on by default.
