Thanks very much for the info, especially the advice on OSX building.
I know this stuff can be a real pain as I've been there before.
Regarding the scripting. I did the Lua bindings first and foremost to
read VASP files and get the volumetric data from those things. I'm
interfacing the VASP data with some VTK bindings and other OpenGL and
audio DSP Lua bindings I have. The drawing was a test to see how far
I could take it. I'll take your advice and look at the Tcl and C
files.
