Hi,

To get rid of the problem with delete, put the following line
in your .vmdrc file using vi as your text editor (there's probably
a way to do this in emcas, but this is how I know how to do it):

  stty erase ^H

The last characters are generated by typing control-v, then backspace.

'stty sane' also sometimes cures the problem.

Cheers,

Justin
