Subject: VMD freezes KDE under Linux Redhat 7.1

Hi,

We are encountering some problem when using the new VMD (1.7) on our
Redhat 7.1 systems: it is quite frequently freezing the whole KDE desktop.
After killing VMD from the outside, the desktop becomes available again.
It happened to me while loading in a long (>5000 frames) trajectory but a
colleague also often encounters it with single structures or smaller
trajectories (especially when switching between the KDE desktops). We are
using glibc 2.2.4-10 and XFree86 Version 4.0.3.

Thanks in advance!
Raik
