Rocks is a traditional cluster distribution. See http://www.rocksclusters.org/Rocks/

NAMD released binaries need libstdc++.so.5, which is not installed by default.

If you install the compat-stdc++-33 package (which is included) NAMD will work.

The rpm file is at

/home/install/rocks-dist/lan/i386/RedHat/RPMS/compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-47.3.i386.rpm

but there must be a more elegant way to specify this. If you figure it out, please update this page!
