    Greetings Fellow Dancers!

I love to shop and I especially love to shop for kids, so the Salvation
Army's Toys for Tots Christmas drive is one of my favorites. If you would
like to participate, but find it difficult to get by the Salvation Army (on
University near downtown Champaign) to drop something off, just purchase a
game or toy for a child - boy or girl - up to maybe 12 years of age. You
don't have to wrap it. Mary Sue has generously agreed to let me use her
house next Friday night as a drop-off/pick up point. Or if you are not
going to the dessert party, feel free to drop it off at my house (712 South
Foley in Champaign) during the week (it should be safe if you put it by the
back door in a plastic bag if I am not home) or to the ornament painting
party on Sunday. Or bring it to the meeting if you are coming and have
time to shop before then. I just thought two days' notice might be a
    little short!

Please note, this is NOT an officially sponsored Dancing Illini event, and
the club bears no responsibility for this posting. I just wanted to give
you the chance to join me celebrate the joy of giving if you so desire,
since this is my single largest concentration of friends.

    Yours in dance,
    RuthAnn
