The Dancing Illini will offer a wide variety of dance-related events
through-out the summer break. Weekly practices will be held Wednesdays
at the Regent Ballroom in Savoy from 9:30-11:00 PM until the end of this
month. There will be practices for the rest of the summer, but the
location and time depends on what space we are assigned by Krannert. A
short lesson or "Quickie" will begin about five minutes after the
beginning of the practice and last 15 minutes.

What to teach is left open to the discretion of the instructor, so . . . .

Do you know a cool step that you would like to share with others?
Do you know a dance the DI doesn't teach?
Do you know how to add some flare and style to a dance?

This is a great way to try out teaching, and help the club!

If so, please lend us a hand and have fun bossing around your fellow DI
by teaching a Quickie. We have a full summer of practices coming up,
so there are plenty of dates to choose from!

You may email replies to me, Matthew Johnson, at:
mpjohnso@alumni.caltech.edu, or call me at 356 - 8571.

Thank you for your time, and Happy Dancing

Matthew
