Sick of forgetting what you learned the week before? Want to show up to class looking like the stud/studess you really are? The Dancing Illini is very pleased to announce practice sessions EVERY MONDAY NIGHT, starting TONIGHT!
Practices will be held at the REGENT BALLROOM from 9:30-10:50 pm. Practices are being offered free of charge. Dance music will be a mix of styles, tailored around the classes that are being offered this session.
The Regent is located at 1406 Regency Drive West in Savoy. If you need a ride, please contact dancing+officers@uiuc.edu , and/or show up at the front doors of Freer Hall by 9:15.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the members who went to the Ohio State University competition this weekend, especially the newcomers. (Great job, Peter Chen and Emily Kass!) Some of us won ribbons, which we will proudly show off at the practice tonight. You can also see mine and Tanja's RIBBON-WINNING same-sex cha-cha, LIVE!!!
The practice tonight is also a great time to line up partners for the next competition, if you would like to join us at Notre Dame on April 20th. Direct your competition questions to Tanja ( incognita1@hotmail.com ).
