Dear Dancers and Future Dancers,
This summer the Dancing Illini is offering its most popular beginner
courses - Swing/Hustle and Salsa/Nightclub 2-step - and a great deal!
Everything is FREE the first week so come on out June 19 & 21 to the
air-conditioned 2nd floor Opera Rehearsal Room at the Krannert Center
and give it a try! No partner or experience are required!
Beginner Swing & Hustle Tuesday 6:45-8:00 (Tanja)
Beg. Salsa & Nightclub 2-step Thursday 6:45-8:00 (Yuri)
Intermediate Rumba & Cha Cha Tuesday 9:00-10:15
(Adrian & Holly. Rumba or Cha Cha experience required.)
Int. Hustle & West Coast Swing Thursday 9:00-10:15
(Bruce & Leigh. This will be a higher-level class!
Basic knowledge of both Hustle and WCS are required.)
Courses meet in the Opera Rehearsal Room at Krannert.
Courses run for 6 weeks starting June 19 & 21 and
ending July 31 & Aug. 2, with no classes July 3 & 5.
Open practice 8:00-9:00 after every beginner class.
Pricing:
There is no need to pre-register. We invite you to try a course for
FREE during the first week. Your $30 membership (or $35 registration
if non-UIUC) entitles you to one course. Join by the end of the first
week of classes. Prices are per person; there is no couples discount.
Please be prepared to pay by the start of the second class.
