Many of you at the DI have at one time or another competed in dancesport
events, or intend to do so before long. There are many things one must
know about the art of competition. Most important among it all of course
is presentation on the dance floor. To those that wonder how one is judged
on the dance floor, I recommend you visit this site to find out.

Another synopsis of judging is the tape produced by Dance Vision, called
the "Judges View." These frequent and top judges of professional
competitions give you their personal view along with what is most important
with all judges. That link is http://www.dancevision.com

I am sure Bruce and Hilary and Daira and Tom will tell you exactly the same
thing when you ask them. Now, you won't have to take notes...

Good luck to those that will compete in the near future. Keep dancing.

With regards,
Sri.
