SALSA AND ARGENTINE TANGO CLASS INFORMATION.
SALSA CLASSES
Every Friday evening, January 28th through February 25th at the
McKinley Foundation. (Located on the corner of Fifth and Daniel, two
blocks south of Green st. in campus town.)
Beginning Salsa class
5:30-7:00
This class is for those of you who are new to the dance, or for those
who want a refresher course. This class will focus on the principles
of leading and following, basic steps and turns, cross body leads and
footwork.
Advanced Salsa class
7:00-8:30
This class is for people who have danced salsa for a while and want to
learn new ways to add to your dancing. It's been a while since Ece and
I have taught an advanced class so it should be a lot of fun. We are
going to work on more advanced cross body leads, footwork,
improvisation, switching partners, what to do when you screw up a lead;
or for the women, what to do when you have absolutely no idea of what he
wants you to do. etc.....
Each session is $30. No partner is required. And the first class is
free! You can join thru February 4th. If you are repeating a class it's

Argentine Tango classes
Every Thursday evening, January 27th through February 24th at the
Channing-Murray Foundation. (located on the corner of Oregon and
Matthews. One block West of Espresso Royale in Urbana.)
Level I Argentine Tango
5:00-6:30
This class is for those new to Argentine Tango or for those in need of a
refresher course.
Argentine tango is one of the most beautiful dances I have ever seen and
is danced in just about every major city around the world. In this class
we are going to work on the basic fundamentals of Argentine Tango. By
the end of this class you will be dancing well and will be hungry for
more.
Level III Argentine Tango
6:30-8:00
This class is for those who want to refine there dancing and existing
figures, as well as learn new ones. We are going to work a lot on
technique in this class as well as new and exciting figures. Our hope
is to help you understand your partners place at any given time in the
dance and recognize where you can change and improvise figures you
already know.
Each session is $30. No partner is required. And the first class is
free! You can join thru February 3rd. If you are repeating a class it's
