Alternative to making tapes

It appears that tapes can be a lot of trouble for any dance occasion,
since there's no quick way to jump to any place on the tape, so I'd like
to suggest another solution. I have the facility to create CD's. That
is, if the different music sources are assembled, I can create a new CD
with the different songs. The only problem with this solution is it is
rather time-consuming, and it can easily take two hours per CD, and that
doesn't include the time that it takes to assemble the different music
sources and decide the order that the songs will appear on the CD. So, if
this solution is of interest, I would ask that I get a little help. It's
not difficult to do, but it is tedious. Let me know you'd like to try
this method, and I'll give you more specifics.
