Dancing in other cities

As the semester winds down, I know some of you are leaving UIUC for
greener pastures. If that's so, then you may want to find places to
dance and people to dance with in your new neighborhood.

A couple of resources you may find helpful. First, check out my
Dance Hotlist at

http://zeus.ncsa.uiuc.edu:8080/~hneeman/dance_hotlist.html

which has over 500 links to dance resources around the world. You may
well be able to find dance opportunities just by pointing and clicking.

You may also want to check with me on whether I have any contacts in
your new area. I administer a loose network of collegiate dancers
around the world, covering most of the US states and Canadian provinces,
as well as lots of places overseas. So drop me a note and I might be
able to find someone for you to get in touch with.

In fact, if you're going on to grad school, or to an academic staff or
faculty position, I might even be able to point you to a ballroom club
on your new campus.
